I am an Associate Professor in the Process Science group at the Department of Information and Computing Sciences of Utrecht University.
My research focuses on the intersection of IT and organisations. Currently I am working on projects related to the topics business process management, workaround mining, and robotic process automation. To view my work on workaround mining, please take a look at our Workaround Mining Lab.
I teach various courses at bachelor and master level, including Strategic Management in Organisations and ICT, Scientific Research Methods, and Theories in Information Systems.
Before joining the Process Science group, I held positions at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (2012-2018), and Utrecht University (2009-2011). In 2009 I received my PhD from Utrecht University. I spent the spring and summer of 2008 at Tokyo Institute of Technology as a visiting researcher.
