
I am an Assistant Professor in the Business Process Management & Analytics group at the Department of Information and Computing Sciences of Utrecht University.
My research focuses on the intersection of IT and organisations. Currently I am working on projects related to the topics business process management, workarounds, and robotic process automation. To view my work on workaround mining, please take a look at our Workaround Mining Lab.
I teach various courses at bachelor and master level, including Business Process Management & IT Alignment, Business Information Systems, Strategic Management in Organisations and ICT, and Research Methods.
Before joining the Business Process Management & Analytics group, I held positions as an Assistant Professor at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (2012-2018), and Utrecht University (2009-2011). In 2009 I received my PhD from Utrecht University. I spent the spring and summer of 2008 at Tokyo Institute of Technology as a visiting researcher.
